Yes You (aka Your Reflection/Change of Direction) is a series of participatory moving image art pieces that explore contemporary identity by integrating the viewer’s image with shifting text, graphics, video, voice, and music. Together they create an intimate and intense experience around the viewer, evoking thoughts and emotions as they watch themselves on screen.
These non-narrative pieces range from confrontational to meditative, some blunt, others mysterious, but all are designed to elicit a visceral response—whether it’s laughter, discomfort, curiosity, or catharsis. Yes You invites you to question identity—your own and others’—in ways that are personal, immediate, and at times, unsettling. This project reflects my ongoing commitment to exploring human nature through a lens that is both stripped down and deeply layered.
Yes You has garnered acclaim from the LA Weekly, Digital Arts Blog, and Art and Cake.
